The future of farming and forestry relies heavily on knowledge, with research, innovation, and knowledge sharing being crucial to realizing the ambitious EU policy goals of the Farm to Fork Strategy and the European Green Deal. However, there is a pressing need to enhance the exchange of knowledge between scientific research and practical application.

This event will highlight platforms such as EU-FarmBook, RD-Agri, and Ecophytopic, showcasing how these repositories are transforming the integration of research into practical applications while ensuring long term availability. We will also highlight AKIS Plataforma – a comprehensive tool designed to enhance agricultural innovation and knowledge sharing across Spain. It provides a centralized hub of resources, offering access to best practices, research, and policy guidelines. The platform equips agricultural advisors with advanced decision-making tools and risk assessment models, enabling them to deliver tailored support to farmers. The event will also include a presentation on the Italian platform Innovarurale. This platform plays a crucial role in facilitating the exchange of knowledge and fostering innovation in rural areas, aligning with the objectives of enhancing agricultural practices and rural development.
