AKIS in action: Modernization of agriculture

Innovation plays a key role in achieving the European Green Deal’s vision and objectives. It is also a central tenant of the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS), which focuses on multi-actor-driven innovation and strong networks aiming to produce science-based but practically usable and scalable innovations.

Only by bringing new ideas into practice and helping farmers build the skills they need, we stand a chance to achieve a truly sustainable European agriculture. How policymakers may address innovation-centric interventions and strengthen Europe’s agriculture is the focus of this networking event.

Join us for an exciting event that brings together experts who share their experiences on how EU policy instruments and interventions have enhanced the productivity, sustainability, and resilience of the EU’s food and agriculture sector.
